Jesus is the only way to eternal life! He makes himself available to people today because God raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). He is waiting for you now. Here is how you may receive Him as your Lord and Savior. 1. Admit—Admit you are a sinner. Turn away from your sin and turn toward God (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 John 1:9). 2. Believe—Believe that Jesus is God’s son and that God raised him from the dead (John 3:16). Believe that God sent Jesus to save people from sin. (Romans 5:8; Acts 4:12) 3. Commit—Give your life to Jesus. Trust Him to be your Savior and Lord. (Romans 10:9-10; Romans 10:13; Luke 9:23). Prayer of repentance and faith: “Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You love me. I confess my sin and ask for Your forgiveness. I now invite Jesus into my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” Salvation is God’s gift to us.
